The Marriage Debate
Across America, the debate is raging over marriage and its importance to society. Some would like to redefine marriage to include two people of the same sex. In some cases, proponents want the bundle of legal and economic rights that married couples have, while others want to change society and the very definition of family. Still others want their relationship recognized and in some cases celebrated by society. Entering this debate is Glenn Stanton of Focus on the Family. He has debated this issue on college campuses all over the United States and presents a compelling case to protect marriage.

State Marriage Amendment Rallies
Thousands of citizens have rallied outside the legislature in Raleigh during each of the past four legislative sessions to call for lawmakers to allow a vote on the state marriage amendment. Observers familiar with similar events said these have been among the largest crowds they had ever seen on the Halifax Mall behind the Legislative Building.
