Major Speakers Series
Each year, the North Carolina Family Policy Council hosts a series of dinners across the state. In the spring, we are in Wilmington, Greenville and Raleigh, and in the fall we are in Winston-Salem and Charlotte. We invite speakers who are knowledgeable and in the forefront of many of the public policy debates on issues that affect the family.

Past speakers include: Gary Bauer, Kay Coles James, John Eldredge, Don Eberly, Janet Parshall, Charlie Jarvis, Scott Klusendorf, Tim Kelly, David Barton, Ken Connor, Fred Barnes, Ben Kinchlow, Nancy Pearcy, Mike Long, John Kindt, Chuck Edwards, Tony Perkins, David Nobel, Mike Johnson, Nikolas Nikas, Marvin Olasky, and Star Parker.

Please call (919) 807-0800 if you would like more information about one of these events in your area.

Public Speaking
The North Carolina Family Policy Council staff are often available to speak to your church, civic group or other organization about a variety of public policy issues. We like to present all sides of an issue but can also participate in debates, radio or TV shows and other public forum discussions. Contact us if you would like to schedule a speaker for your group.

Seminars
On an as-needed basis, the North Carolina Family Policy Council staff organizes educational seminars for teachers, parents and students. We are able to bring in noted national experts to provide vital information on various education issues. We have conducted seminars on: citizen involvment in the public policy process, starting a charter school, abstinence education, the religious heritage of our nation's founders, and implementing character education.
